Career Path

I feel that working in a company is my way of exercising patience and thoroughness at work. However, I don’t want to work for people forever. I’ve been wanting to own my own business for a long time. For one reason or another, it’s always been delayed. I feel like this pandemic is the time for me to start a small business, @makan_muluuu. Of course, there are many things that must be considered before starting a business. In this modern era, in my opinion, it is quite easy to promote a product. We can start with interesting social media content, place advertisements on social media, and make products as attractive and unique as possible.

It’s been about four months since my small business has been running. I am grateful to have the courage to start this business as early as possible. Even though it’s tiring, I really enjoy doing everything, like cooking, wrapping and creating content.

Powerful strengths in my business are time, communication, and cooperation. Because the food and drinks I sell are fresh made, they must be packed and shipped quickly, so they don’t get stale on the road. So I have to time my cooking and delivery accordingly. Communication between sellers and buyers is also very important. Since I reply to chats and write content, communication must be very maintained. If one word is wrong, it can make people misunderstand. I also have to speak clearly and give directions to my employees not to make small mistakes. Why is cooperation a strength in my business? Because I was helped by several employees to buy ingredients and delivery orders that near my home. If I can’t work together well, then the employees won’t do their job seriously.

Work Ethic

The term “Ethos” comes from Greek, means personality, character, attitude, character, and belief in something. Work ethic usually shows our attitude or feelings towards the work we are doing. Work ethic can also be a self-reflection. People can judge from outside. Indirectly, work ethic also shows the quality of ourselves. People with a strong work ethic are always valued by those around them or their colleagues. If our behavior is bad, the things we do will be judged carelessly. People only judge from outside, do not care about effort and hard work. Work ethic doesn’t mean we have to pretend. Having principles and perseverance is enough.

Work ethic also has characteristics. Namely respect for time, commitment, honesty, and consistency. Time is money. Therefore, we shouldn’t waste time or procrastinate on anything. Having a commitment shows that we are people who can be responsible. All commitments will be determined by a person’s determination and conviction to produce vitality and passion. Honesty is the most important key. Not only in work, but in everyday life too. If we are not honest, people are always suspicious and prejudiced against us. consistency is the ability to continue to obey and be able to maintain principles despite the various risks. This ability includes the ability to control yourself and manage emotions effectively.

Why is work ethic important and work ethic benefits? In the world of work, workers who have a work ethic can improve the quality of the company. The work ethic of the workers can be the company’s capital to fight competitors. Can the work ethic be against the competition? Yes. Work ethic of workers shows the quality of a company. Not all companies have qualified workers. Work ethic can also build a positive attitude in yourself. Work ethic can be started from simple things. Like greeting each other, always smiling, and respecting each other. Work ethic also fosters a superior attitude. The most important benefit of work ethic is to make the work more qualified. Having a work ethic also makes people respect us.

Be grateful

Welcome to my first blog. My name is Justine, I’m a student of english literature at Binus. On this occasion, I want to tell a little about my life. In the past I did not have too many friends and could not be myself. But when I was in high school, everything changed. I moved to a new school near my house, not too big and crowded but made me comfortable. I met many new friends. Until now we are still close even though we all study in different places. Because our campus is close, sometimes we go together by busway. Every month we still meet for just a chat or a walk. I am very grateful to meet and know them. Because of them I can be more cheerful and I can be myself. They always fill my school days with laughter. They can accept me for who I am, they always remind me when I’m wrong, they understand the most and always accompany me when I’m sad and need a place to lean on.

When I started college, I met more friends. My new friends are also fun and funny. I’m happy to meet them who can fill the difficult days when in college.
