Work Ethic

     The term “Ethos” comes from Greek, means personality, character, attitude, character, and belief in something. Work ethic usually shows our attitude or feelings towards the work we are doing. Work ethic can also be a self-reflection. People can judge from outside. Indirectly, work ethic also shows the quality of ourselves. People with a strong work ethic are always valued by those around them or their colleagues. If our behavior is bad, the things we do will be judged carelessly. People only judge from outside, do not care about effort and hard work. Work ethic doesn’t mean we have to pretend. Having principles and perseverance is enough.

     Work ethic also has characteristics. Namely respect for time, commitment, honesty, and consistency. Time is money. Therefore, we shouldn’t waste time or procrastinate on anything. Having a commitment shows that we are people who can be responsible. All commitments will be determined by a person’s determination and conviction to produce vitality and passion. Honesty is the most important key. Not only in work, but in everyday life too. If we are not honest, people are always suspicious and prejudiced against us. consistency is the ability to continue to obey and be able to maintain principles despite the various risks. This ability includes the ability to control yourself and manage emotions effectively.     

     Why is work ethic important and work ethic benefits? In the world of work, workers who have a work ethic can improve the quality of the company. The work ethic of the workers can be the company’s capital to fight competitors. Can the work ethic be against the competition? Yes. Work ethic of workers shows the quality of a company. Not all companies have qualified workers. Work ethic can also build a positive attitude in yourself. Work ethic can be started from simple things. Like greeting each other, always smiling, and respecting each other. Work ethic also fosters a superior attitude. The most important benefit of work ethic is to make the work more qualified. Having a work ethic also makes people respect us.
